Apollo Imaging
Apollo Imaging provides the ability to import scanned images into the database, attach images and print reports directly from an instrument into the database. The Apollo Imaging module can be utilized with any paper or electronically generated report.

The ApolloLIMS SDMS/ Document Imaging module is able to associate a scanned image, PDF document, JPEG file or TIFF file with a submitter account, patient, specimen or worklist.

Examples of images that can be captured and stored are:
• Paper requisitions, Identification, Insurance Cards
• Contracts and Agreements
• Instrument Result Graphs
• GC/MS Chromatograms
• Account Standing Orders

The Apollo Imaging module is fully integrated into the core ApolloLIMS application and allows the laboratory to work in a near paperless fashion and decrease inefficient bottlenecks. All images are viewable from any workstation running ApolloLIMS. Stored images can be reproduced if printed copies are required and may be faxed or emailed to client accounts.

Current regulations require record retention for many years. With an integrated imaging solution, laboratory results will be stored alongside captured images from the original instrumentation.
