Specimen Storage

The Specimen Storage module enables laboratory personnel to retrieve specimens through the use of defined specimen racks and storage locations. The Specimen Storage module will help your laboratory manage the resolution of pending specimens and add-on orders across departments and work benches.  The module allows for easy retrieval of specimen locations and enables movement of specimens between storage racks.

A complete specimen audit train can be generated to show each time a specimen was added or removed from the Specimen Storage system.  This virtual "chain of custody" is a powerful management tool.
